Leadership Mission is a premier leadership development program designed to cultivate informed, engaged, and visionary leaders committed to the future of Mission, Texas. Through a series of immersive sessions, participants explore the city’s most critical issues, connect with influential community leaders, and develop the skills needed to drive meaningful change.

The Leadership Mission program begins each year with a Class Orientation in August, where the incoming class is introduced and celebrated.
Monthly sessions take place from September through April, covering key topics and sectors that shape our community. The program concludes in June with a graduation ceremony that honors the commitment and growth of each participant.
Through this structured experience, participants gain valuable insights, forge lasting relationships, and graduate prepared to make a meaningful impact in Mission and beyond.

Since its founding in 1980's, Leadership Mission has been shaping the future of the Mission community—one leader at a time.
Now celebrating over 40 years of impact, the program was established by visionary leaders who believed that a strong community requires strong, informed leadership. Since then, hundreds of Leadership Mission graduates have gone on to serve on boards, lead businesses, hold public office, and launch initiatives that continue to improve the quality of life in Mission and the surrounding region.
